In the northern hemisphere the dog days of summer approach. In the southern hemisphere the “curl up like a cat to stay warm” days of winter commence. Assuming that one now feels the essence of the prevailing transits, neither of these four-legged symbolic signatures plays well in the weeks to come.
Rather immediately Mars in Scorpio squares Jupiter in Leo (exact in a little more than a day). If there was ever a time for taking bold action, this would be it. Well, maybe it’s not even action (though it is about Mars). Maybe a body can only manage to summon up some big, boastful promises of things that will be perused. Hopefully, these promises are not contingent. Those promises sounding like: “If I win the lottery, I will x, y and z,” likely will not come to pass. Those with “come hell or high water,” “all bets are off,” “stop at nothing” attitudes etched in their agendas more than likely take major steps toward the agenda of manifestation.
For those making broad and bold claims of accomplishment to come, you’re in luck. In the next days, from the 3rd through 5th of August, Venus squares the dwarf planet from Hawaii, Haumea, now in Libra. This island deity bears association with great abundance, providence and unlimited creative flow. At the end of this short window of time, Venus moves to square the lunar nodes, which by all accounts demands that creative aspiration line up with ones destiny. Of course, to navigate in the lodestone direction of the north node, all lingering doubts, insecurities and redundant karmic issues footnoted by the south node require complete release, sealing and abolishment.
So, should one offer up great plans in the next day or so and not have all legs completely secured under the table, the seeds of soulful aspiration and the nailing it that comes from creative doing rather immediately fill in any blanks.
On August 18th Venus, then in Leo, aligns with Jupiter. This alignment highlights the intention of Mars square Jupiter, and within her own underscoring, points out those elements of life that need to be infused, amplified, explored, cultivated and honed. With such a lustrous buffing, Venus assures that with the jewels of ones creativity fully displayed, those who possess the wherewithal, talent and resources to secure what requirements may still be lacking, can sign on with confidence that they will receive a substantial and appropriate return on their investment, whether energetic or economic.
As August concludes the dubiously touted Mars and Saturn conjunction occurs (August 25). Sadly, Mars and Saturn together may be maligned as an inhibiting, attenuating force hell bent on opposing all of ones efforts. Add Scorpio, and the transit’s hype may scare the bedookies out of some. For that type of response there is no reason.
Truth be told, if one maintains an impeccably clear agenda for their passions in life (Scorpio) and fully invests their energy, effort and evocative creativity (Mars) into that agenda, and if that person persists beyond the beyond, through times of frustration and the appearance of speed bumps and sink holes, and while holding firm the determination to maintain integrity and fulfill purpose above all, Saturn will render results. Saturn loves busy bees, hard workers and those who can replace the wheels on the track when the choo-choo tips over in the turn. They say good things come to those who wait. Maybe, but this is a Saturn and Mars pattern. Good things come to those who bust their butts and work at it every day as if there’s no tomorrow. Okay, you can take one day a week off. Perhaps that should be Saturn’s day.
The bow on the creative amalgamation promised ahead within the month of August occurs as the north node aligns with Haumea. Think of this as the unabated flow of creative lava, pouring from the core of one’s being, creating a new, solid landscape, which holds the potential for all things that sink roots or seed in the spewing base of fertility to flourish beyond wild expectations. Expect ideas to flow freely. During this interval solutions for long-standing concerns may effortlessly appear, whether those concerns are of a personal or collective spectrum.
When blazing, brilliant brainstorms occur, waste not. Use Mars and Saturn to stake your claim on the mindset, get it going, and reap the results.
Of course, there’s the matter of what to do with those lazy, sleeping dogs and dreaming felines.
